Dr. Parker Speaks at Texas Podiatric Medical Association Conference (June 24, 2016)
Along with Peyman Ellison, a friend, colleague, and fellow member of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons (AENS), I had the honor and pleasure of presenting a nerve track update at the annual conference of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, right in my own backyard (figuratively) in Houston.
Those of you who know me well understand how important these sessions are to me -- the AENS is my favorite organization and near and dear to my heart, and it's been a personal mission of mine to help educate and train the next generation of surgeons to deal with the kinds of nerve issues that are sadly becoming more and more common. With the AENS I'm dedicated to continue spreading the word!
Many of you who have been with me for some time may remember my youngest son, Cameron, helping out at the office during the summers when he was still a young boy.
Last month I had the distinct pleasure of seeing him graduate from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL with a B.S. in Music Business. Where does the time go? We are excited to see what the next chapter in life holds for him.

Nice to have one of these conferences relatively close to home once in a while!
Here I am with Dr. Shai Rozen, MD of UT Southwestern Medical Center. His level 1 study provided irrefutable proof of the validity and effectiveness of the diabetic entrapped nerve procedures we've been using to help patients for 15 years.
Below, a moment with Dr. Bernarnd Morrey, emeritus chair of the department of orthopedics at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Morrey has been a champion of eye procedure emulsification technology, now a proven-successful treatment for heel pain.
Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons (AENS) Diabetic Neuropathy and Peripheral Nerve Diagnostics Course in Atlanta, GA (January 2016)
Just got back from speaking and teaching a course for other nerve surgeons in Roswell, GA (just north of Atlanta). This was on behalf of my favorite organization, the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons. It's always a great pleasure to help train the next generation of nerve surgeons, plus I got to spend some time with my friends and colleagues Dr. Stephen Barrett and Dr. Andrew Rader.
